This is THE canonical quickstart. Everything below is generated from the same content pipeline as the rest of this site — never hand-maintained copies.

Step 1 — Install the edge (one command)

The bootstrap fetches and verifies the canonical installer, then installs Edge Lite on your machine. Outbound 443 only. 

curl -fsSL https://www.zen-mesh.io/install-edge-lite.sh | sh

The script's source of truth lives in the zen-platform release directory; this URL serves the verified bootstrap and nothing else. Read it before running it — you always should.

Step 2 — Platform quick-start
