Open-source Zen Mesh
Inspect the building blocks behind secure webhook delivery, Kubernetes automation, and developer workflows.
Open-source components vs. hosted Zen Mesh
Zen Mesh combines open-source components with a hosted control plane. Use OSS projects directly, or connect them to the hosted platform for team workflows, governance, and managed operations.
Open-source components
- Local and self-managed tools
- Kubernetes controllers and utilities
- SDKs and developer libraries
- Validation and automation building blocks
- Community inspection and contribution
Hosted Zen Mesh
- Managed control plane
- Team and organization workflows
- Access control and object permissions
- Evidence and audit workflows
- Plan-gated features
- Commercial support and operations

Contributing
Contributions are welcome where repositories accept issues and pull requests. Each repository documents its own contribution guidelines — check the respective README before opening a PR.
For security issues, do not use public GitHub issues. Report vulnerabilities by emailing zen@zen-mesh.io so they can be handled before public disclosure.
Some Zen Mesh services remain commercial and proprietary. The open-source projects listed here cover specific components, not the entire platform.
